WORKSHOPS
Join us for a taste of the Evergreen Learning Collective experience! . We are excited to get to know you! 🎉
Interested families with students ages 5-9 (next year's 6-10 y.o.) join us for a FREE Spring Workshop to get a taste of the Evergreen Learning Collective experience! We will be offering two dates this April, April 1st & 2nd. These will be hosted at the 1833 at 22 E. Franklin Street in Troy, OH.
PLEASE NOTE: Each date has a unique time for the workshop. True to our value on community building, we will eat lunch together in both sessions, so please pack a lunch for your student.
Pokemon & Animal Adaptations: Explore animal adaptations through the world of Pokemon! Students will learn about the concept of animal adaptations and analyze how this has influenced Pokemon regional variants. Students will have the opportunity to dream up and create their own Pokemon variants with traits suited for new environments.
Almost Edible Art: Art loving students will eat this up! (Well, almost.) Students will learn how to create food based art materials, such as paints and modeling "dough". They will also get to explore chemistry concepts involved in color changes caused by adding acids or bases.
